I just found out what happened. Well what they want to tell us. I just read Dana's letter and can't believe they did that. My 2 kids have been going to classes there since april of last year. I too am very sad about the decision that Tim Martin and the YMCA made to close the competitive gymnastics program. My daughter was to compete in her first meet this month she has worked really hard this year to make the Level 4 team. <br />For now we will be going to Oasis for the month but after that I am not sure what we will be able to afford. This story has been very big on channel 3 news. 6 P.M. last night and 6 A.M. this morning.<br /><br />It shows the Y as it is. Not there for the kids and apparently competition is for adults only. <br /><br />Per the Y’s spokesman, Mike something: “Were getting rid of competitive sports as they do not fit the Y’s philosophy of Kids all play and they all win”.<br /><br />The only message I get
